The city sits at the confluence of the River Boyne and the River Blackwater, contributing to high humidity and frequent mists.

Summer in Navan is pleasant and relatively warm compared to coastal areas. Average daytime temperatures range between 19°C and 21°C (66-70°F). This is an ideal time for visiting nearby archaeological sites, though brief rain showers and palpable humidity due to river proximity should be expected.

Winter Season and Precipitation
